Hair Extensions Q&A

You’ve got questions. We’ve got answers! If there is something that you need answered that is not on our list, please feel free to call the salon, text us, or DM us for more information!

What are hand-tied extensions?
“Hand-tied” refers to the actual weft of hair that is installed. Each detailed weft is made by hand and lays very flat to the head. The top of the weft is very thin, allowing the extensions to be seamless, comfortable and undetectable. We custom color the guest’s natural hair along with the extension hair to create a seamless look.

How often is the maintenance of hand-tied extensions?
We recommend moving-up the extensions every 6-8 weeks.

How long does the hand-tied hair last?
Most hair can last up to a year with proper care along with professional hair products to increase longevity. We recommend replacing the extensions between 6-12 months.

How long does the first installation take?
We usually want to have 4-5 hours for the initial installation. This includes custom coloring of your natural hair, custom placing wefts, before and after pictures and a blending of the final look and style.

What do I do for 5 hours during the installation?
Bring your laptop or a book. You can work and relax and watch a movie while you are having your installation. If you are here during lunch, feel free to bring something to eat or order something to be delivered to the salon. We offer a variety of drinks for you as well.

Can you swim with them in?
Yes! With a little more TLC and professional haircare, it’s ok to enjoy the sun and surf!

What type of hand-tied extensions do you use?
We have several stylists that have been trained in various methods for extensions including SKW, NRB to Aqua.

How much do the extensions cost?
The initial installation appointment can run anywhere from $900 to $1,800 with the most common desired look for volume and length for $1,400. All our pricing includes the highest quality of hair, custom color, custom cut and style as well.
