Shine Salon is a group of talented stylists and licensed professionals that strive to provide our clients with exceptional service in a fun and relaxing environment. Our guest’s individual beauty needs, and happiness are our top priority. Whatever your beauty goals may be, we work together to make sure that they are achieved. Our repertoire includes a menu of the best salon services in Charlotte from artistic haircuts and cutting-edge hair color to keratin treatments and hair extensions. We also offer skincare, makeup, and nail services to help you discover your own signature look.

OUR POLICIES
The Purpose of our Policies
All of Shine Salon policies are designed to enable us to provide you with the best possible services and experience at a great value, and to enable our stylists to be successful. We respect the value of our clients’ and stylists’ time.
Our no-show and 24-hour cancellation policies are not intended to be punitive, but rather to compensate our stylists for the time in which they are unable to serve another client given the late notice. The more notice we have of appointment changes, the more able we are all to accommodate all our clients. We appreciate your understanding.
Cancellations within 24 hours of a scheduled appointment will result in fees equal to 50% of the price of the scheduled service(s). These fees are due prior to booking another appointment at Shine, or before receiving service at a previously scheduled appointment.
No Show Appointments will result in fees equal to 100% of the price of the scheduled service(s). These fees are due prior to booking another appointment at Shine, or before receiving service at a previously scheduled appointment.
New Client Appointment Deposits
All new client appointments more than 90 minutes long will require a $75.00 reservation fee at the time of booking, which is refundable 24 hours before the scheduled time of service. The reservation fee will be applied to the cost of the service if the appointment is not cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the appointment time. If an appointment is rescheduled more than 24 hours in advance, the reservation fee will carry forward to the new appointment time.
Late arrivals
We strive to provide exceptional customer service to all our guests. When clients arrive late for their service, that can create a stressful environment and an experience that is below our standards; not only for you but for the next guest that is on time. If you are 15 minutes late, we will accommodate you only if we are able to do so without negatively impacting clients after you; we may need to reschedule your appointment. Please keep in mind the ongoing construction around Charlotte to allow the appropriate amount of travel time.
Scheduling Issues and Appointment Errors
We know your time is valuable, and we know we can make mistakes. If we must cancel or reschedule your same day reservation, you are entitled to a $20 credit for services, or (if available) an appointment with another designer on your original scheduled day. If you arrive for a confirmed appointment that we are unable to accommodate, your scheduled service will be complimentary.
 Child’s Cuts
Child’s cuts are for children 12 and under, and are subject to additional fees for extra length, extra time or extra color product, just as adult cuts are.
 Children in the Salon
We want all our clients to have a peaceful and relaxing experience at Shine. We welcome your children and appreciate you taking responsibility for ensuring that their behavior does not disrupt the experience of our other clients. For their safety, children should be always with a parent unless they are with their own stylist. Thank you for your understanding.
Return Policies
- Haircare products can be returned within 30 days, if lightly used.
- Hair styling tools can be returned to Shine Salon within 30 days, with original packaging and without physical damage. They have a manufacturer warrantee of 1 year, to be returned directly to the manufacturer.
- Skincare Products, Makeup Brushes and Hair Accessories are final sale and cannot be returned.
- Jewelry, Apparel and Accessories can be returned within 10 days of purchase for a store credit.
Not Sure I Like This Cleanser?
All skin care sales are final and unable to be returned.
Shine Service Guarantee
We value long term client relationships, so our main goal is client satisfaction with every service. If you are not satisfied with your service, please call us within 24 hours of your appointment, as we would like the opportunity to adjust your services to your gratification. Our team will work with you to reserve an appointment with your current stylist or we will have another stylist to work with you, if needed.
